We are off for a new day trip to Calpe, come with us to explore this beautiful town...

 

Calpe´s historic centre is very charming...

Do not miss the Street of Flags (Calle de las Banderas - see image on poster) with the painted steps and houses! However, be aware there is a steep hill to climb to this part of the historic centre, so probably not accessible to those with limited mobility.

 

Also, something to see is the Torreon de la Peca, the remains of the old medieval wall and the tower now houses the collectors museum. There so much else to see, a wide variety of seafront restaurants to sit and relax in, enjoy delicious food including freshly caught fish which you can see being brought in by the fishermen.

Or for those feeling like a challenge, take a walk up the El Peñón de Ifach Calpe rock!! Good luck!
