On this new trip we are taking you to the stunning Valle de Ricote, to see the village of Ricote, which is the heart of Valley. It has a Moorish origin and was part of the Santiago Knights religious order after becoming Christian. We will have a guided walk through its charming streets & see the San Sebastian church, the jewel of the village.

 

Ricote is a small town with a rich history dating back to the Muslim era, it is know for its agricultural prosperity due to the fertile lands. It is a beautifully scenic area and deservedly growing in tourism, it is a hidden gem.

 

After that we will go to the traditional beer factory, the only one in that area where we will see how the beer is prepared and then have a tasting of 4 beers paired with some snacks (almonds, olives, traditional sausage such as chorizo, etc).

 

After the brewery we will return to the coach and take you to Murcia city for the afternoon of free time to enjoy the shops, bars and some lunch.

Walking is Involved in this tour. It is not difficult but ideally suited for those able to walk with no problems.
