INFORMATION OF INTEREST ABOUT THE SOLAR ECLIPSE OF 12th AUGUST

from the Condado de Alhama Social Committee

 

Dear residents of Condado de Alhama,

 

On August 12th, a historic astronomical event will take place in Spain: a total solar eclipse that has not occurred in our country for more than 100 years.

 

Therefore, given the significance of this event for all those interested in and passionate about astronomy, the Alhama City Council has set up an observation point in the vicinity of Condado de Alhama, on a plot of land owned by the City Council that is very close to the monolith at the entrance to Condado.

 

This statement includes some links of interest, where you can find detailed information about this eclipse and two others that will take place in 2027 and 2028.

 

After the solar eclipse event, we will meet at 9:30 p.m. in the municipal park, prior to the First Night Route of Condado de Alhama, as part of the activities of the summer of 2026.

Después del maravilloso evento del eclipse solar, ¿por qué no venir con su familia y amigos a dar un paseo nocturno y conocer gente nueva para disfrutar de esta noche tan especial?

 

INFORMACIÓN DE INTERÉS SOBRE EL ECLIPSE SOLAR DEL 12 DE AGOSTO.

 

Estimados vecinos de Condado de Alhama,

 

El próximo día 12 de agosto, tendrá lugar un evento astronómico histórico en España, un eclipse solar total que hacía más de 100 años que no se producía en nuestro país.

 

Por ello, por la significancia que dicho evento tendrá para todos los interesados y aficionados a la astronomía, el Ayuntamiento de Alhama ha habilitado un punto de observación en los alrededores de Condado de Alhama, en una parcela del Ayuntamiento que tiene muy próximo al monolito de entrada a Condado.

 

En este comunicado se adjunta unos enlaces de interés, donde podrán encontrar información detallada sobre este eclipse y otros dos que tendrán lugar en 2027 y 2028.

 

Después del evento del eclipse solar, nos reuniremos, a las 21:30 horas en el parque municipal, previo a la Primera Ruta Nocturna de Condado de Alhama, como parte de las actividades del verano de 2026.
